This year, Ashley Korney, Deli department, was awarded a $1,000 scholarship as she pursues a Bachelor of Science in the Agriculture and Bioresources at the university of Saskatchewan.

"What I've experienced is that Co-op has a supportive work environment, awesome customer service and is very invested in giving back to the community. You need to be grateful and communicate with each of your team members to succeed and lean on each other. As an individual whose family has had a Co-op number for many, many years, I can tell you it's not just a number but a share. Every person that has a Co-op number owns a part of Co-op with loads of opportunities and the chance to have potential cash back or equity.
